Storage Instructions:| All of our products are manufactured using the Lyophilization (Freeze Drying) process, which ensures that our products remain 100% stable for shipping for up to 3-4 months. Once the peptides are reconstituted (mixed with bacteriostatic water), they must be stored in the fridge to maintain stability. After reconstitution, the peptides will remain stable for up to 30 days. Lyophilization is a unique dehydration process, also known as cryodesiccation, where the peptides are frozen and then subjected to low pressure. This causes the water in the peptide vial to sublimate directly from solid to gas, leaving behind a stable, crystalline white structure known as lyophilized peptide. The puffy white powder can be stored at room temperature until you're ready to reconstitute it with bacteriostatic water. Once peptides have been received, it is imperative that they are kept cold and away from light. If the peptides will be used immediately, or in the next several days, weeks or months, short-term refrigeration under 4C (39F) is generally acceptable. Lyophilized peptides are usually stable at room temperatures for several weeks or more, so if they will be utilized within weeks or months such storage is typically adequate. However, for longer term storage (several months to years) it is more preferable to store peptides in a freezer at -80C (-112F). When storing peptides for months or even years, freezing is optimal in order to preserve the peptide’s stability. Description

SNAP-8 Cosmetic Peptide

Sequence: Acetyl-Glu-Glu-Met-Gln-Arg-Arg-Ala-Asp-NH₂
Molecular Formula: C₄₁H₇₀N₁₆O₁₆S
Molecular Weight: 1075.16 g/mol

Overview
SNAP-8 is a synthetic octapeptide derived from the N-terminal domain of the SNAP-25 protein. It functions by competing with native SNAP-25 for incorporation into the SNARE complex, subtly modulating neurotransmitter release at neuromuscular junctions. This controlled modulation results in decreased muscle contraction intensity, helping to soften expression lines and visibly reduce wrinkle depth.

Key Research-Based Benefits
• Demonstrated to diminish the appearance of dynamic wrinkles, particularly those on the forehead and periocular region.
• Considered a safer, less invasive, and more economical alternative to botulinum-based treatments—achieving comparable outcomes through a distinct biochemical pathway.
• Formulated for inclusion in advanced topical systems such as serums, emulsions, and gels to target localized areas of concern.

Formulation and Stability
INCI Name: Acetyl Glutamyl Heptapeptide-1
Active Content: 0.05 % SNAP-8 Powder

SNAP-8 is produced via precision peptide synthesis followed by lyophilization to yield a stable polymorphic crystalline powder. Minor variations in crystal morphology are normal and do not affect product integrity. It is available as either a reconstitutable powder or a ready-to-use aqueous solution (0.5 g/L). For optimal peptide stability, it should be incorporated at the final compounding stage below 40 °C. Inclusion levels of 3 – 10 % of the aqueous solution in finished formulations are typically recommended to achieve measurable anti-wrinkle activity.

Storage and Shelf Life
Both powder and solution forms should be stored in a cool, dark, and hygienic environment. At ambient conditions, shelf life is approximately 12 months; refrigeration at 4 °C extends stability to 18 months or longer. Occasional preservative precipitation in refrigerated solutions may occur but does not compromise product quality.
